Let me tell you about my frustrations. Incase you haven't figured it out I basicly only use xanga to blurt out all my wearies. Today... my job. Yes I know everyone has something to complain about when it comes to work... starting at the fact that it's work.
So I work in a top secret unit... ha no not really but some of them like to think they are. I'm apart of a squadron that babysits nucs... at a base that you may have recently seen on t.v. for a major fuck-up. Which in my squadrons defense... wasn't us. Someone else was an idiot. Though... we have plantly of idiots of our but they like to stick to ruin peoples lifes and not losing "things." Unfortunately for some.
Now let me tell you that I do not hate my job. It's not a bad job... the actual work I mean. It's the people around here that SUCK FUCKING ASS!!! We have the most thankless job in the world. Civilians don't know what we do, nor do they care and a lot of them can be really rude around here. But I'll get to that another day. Higher-ups seem to forget how crappy what we do can be. Let me explain.
Where I work it gets to be on average -20 in the winter but can get as low as -60. In the summer it's an average of 85 degrees with a possible high of 105 degrees. I with my team drive around in vehicles that have no heat, our fearless leaders like to tell themselves we have heat but at about 10 degrees you feel no heat. These vehicles also have no AC. We spend about 12 hours in these vehicles in a 3 day period. Then we got a new leader man and he decides he's going to change our ways because we suck (not his words but actions speak louder then words) and the way we did thinks before obvious didn't work at all (you see I'm being highly sarcastic because you the people of the world would know if a nuc was stolen... thats just how things roll). So they way he runs things hes got us working on average 15 hours days (but some can last up to 18 hours, he may not believe it but he has rolyaly fucked us THANK YOU SIR!) So now with the upped hours I will tell you my last 3 days of work I spent 32 hours in one of these wonderful vehicles I spoke of. THAT'S 8 HOURS SHY OF A PULL TIME JOB!!
People in this job... well... I don't even know how to describe. because the way it seems I would say that all the people in this job hate everyone else. You see you can't turn around and say "hey that person does what I do, we went to the same school to do what we do, they'll be cool to me" because they won't! You could work right next to them and they will turn around and put a 7 inch K-bar in your back. Thanks ass wipes! It's makes me hate just about everyone I see with the same marks as me.
There is so much I really don't know how to say it all. Some of us are good people. We work hard, we have the best interest for our people and we try to do whats right. Then everyone else just sucks. Like fatboy and fluffy... just so you know your tax dollars are going to pay two former non-civilians who seemed to have got tired of physical ability tests got out to teach us how to do our job (which they don't do, and our job changes all the time..) They are worthless and they make twice as much as we do. A person who was paid 27,000 a year to work now gets paid over 50,000 to get fat, come in to work in civi's and FUCK EVERYTHING UP!
Thanks to them I was forced to sit through the same class which is normally about 4 hours long actually turn out to be 10 hours long once because of technical difficulties and today because "somebody" is a turd who thinks he knows everything and wanted to... I dunno... ruin our day and he managed to make it long for... no reason at all. Then claimed that the class actually should be 3 days and I'm thinking since we've gotten this class more then once in our careers and other instructor manage to do the class in 4 hours... he a fuck-tard who can't manage his time.
Oh... oh and!!! There are a group of us who are heading to the desert... you know that place where a war is going on and people or being blown to bits by terrorist.. yeah we're going there. And certain people apartently don't think we'll be doing enough work while we're fighting a war and they want to assign us more dutied because it's not important for us or our families to be together before we're gone for a long time... nooooo it's only important that the man make us work hard so that he can sit in an air conditioned room, coming in at 8 am and leaving at 4 pm (or possibly earlier). yes sir let me bust my ass because I have more college then you, and you think your better then me because you've spent 10 years getting something I could get in 4 if I wanted and that gives you a right to be an ass hole to me. Well... sirs... all of the ones who think they are better then people a pay grade below them let me tell you... one day we'll be out in the real world I promise I won't forget you and when I'm higher then you because I am actually SMARTER then you and you come to me for a job... I'm probably not going to be so inclined to help you. Karma!
Ahhh that sounds evil. If you have someone threatening you with their big foot over you, making you do retarted things the hard way because if you don't they'll step on you... you'd be a little bitter too.
Not many of the people above us do anything to make our shitty situation better or even try to help us out at all.
